This is a book on prayer. However it does not deal with the theology of prayer or the different methods of prayer, rather it is a collection of experiences of people form different walks of life, in which God intervened in a special manner in response to their prayer. The events recounted are mostly very ordinary, which shows that God is present in and concerned with our everyday life.
To get the maximum benefit from using this book, it would be wiser to read just one incident at a time and use it for meditation rather than read the wole book in a few settings.
