The Green Scapular is a double image attached to a SINGLE piece of cloth and suspended from a cord. The only prayer is the inscription surrounding the heart on the reverse of the Scapular: "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death." The Green Scapular may be placed in the clothing, on the bed, or simply in the room and is intended to bring peace, healing, and conversion.
