Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is also called Saint Therese of the Child Jesus or the Little Flower. Her popularity is largely a result of her collection of epistolary essays titled Histoire d’une âme (“Story of a Soul”), which conveys her loving pursuit of holiness in ordinary life. She is a patron saint of missions and florists. Her feast day is October 1st.
