OUR LADY OF VAILANKANNI - 30CM

Our Lady of Good Health, more popularly known as Our Lady of Vailankanni.  Oral tradition dating back to mid-16th century, tells of Mother Mary's apparitions with Infant Jesus in her arms to two Hindu boys on 2 separate occasions with miracles following her apparitions; one of which was the miraculous healing of the boy who was crippled. The third miracle is believed to have occurred in the 17th century where Portuguese sailors were saved from a storm and they promised to build a church in honor of Mother Mary at wherever they landed safely.
